William Smith

William Smith is the co-founder and CEO of Offshored, the Sydney company that recruits and manages dedicated offshore staff for Australian businesses. He has worked in staffing and workforce development since 2010.

For seven years he was Managing Director of Applied Care, and he has since founded and led businesses in aged care, education and vocational training, working closely with the NDIS, ASQA and the Australian Qualifications Framework. Those businesses ran teams in both Australia and the Philippines, which is where the Offshored model was tested before it was offered to clients.

In 2023 William moved to the Philippines to set up the Offshored operation in BGC, Manila on the ground, and he still works directly with every Australian client on recruitment standards and outcomes. He studied at the University of Technology Sydney.
