The role
What an offshore property management assistant does
An offshore property management assistant is a full-time administrator, based in the Philippines and dedicated to one agency, who supports your property managers and, where you want it, your sales team. They work inside your property management software, CRM and portals with the access you grant, and follow your agency's procedures for your state's tenancy legislation.
The role supports licensed staff; it does not replace them. Functions that state law reserves for a licensed agent or registered property manager, such as signing agreements on the agency's behalf, conducting inspections in person or authorising trust account transactions, stay with your Australian team. Everything around those functions, which is most of the day, can be prepared, processed, chased and recorded offshore.
Confidentiality and assignment of work product are written into the employment contract, which matters in an industry that handles tenants' identity documents, bond details and landlords' financial information every day. You can change or remove system access at any time.
