Our Philippine office is at Suite 706, HSS Corporate Building, corner of 26th Street and 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Manila 1634.
BGC is Manila's main business district, and it is where our recruitment, onboarding, payroll and day-to-day HR team is based. Team members work from the BGC office or from home, depending on the role and your requirements, and in both cases they are managed by that team.
Team members are recruited and managed by Offshored and legally employed by our Philippine entity, Australian Pathways OPC, a registered Philippine company, so you engage a staffing service rather than employing an overseas worker, and there is no third-party agency in the middle. Your team member works Sydney business hours, which means they are online when you are, join your morning meetings, and pick up the phone during your customers' day.
Our office is in Sydney, but most of what we do happens on a call, so where you are in Australia matters less than the hours your team member keeps. Manila is on Philippine Standard Time (UTC+8) all year, and here is how that lines up with each capital.
The same overlap as Sydney. Manila is two hours behind Melbourne during standard time and three hours behind during daylight saving (October to April). Your team member starts at 6am or 5am Manila time to cover your 8am, which is normal for our staff.
Manila is two hours behind Brisbane all year, because Queensland does not use daylight saving. Brisbane clients get the most consistent overlap on the east coast.
Manila is one and a half hours behind Adelaide during standard time and two and a half hours behind during daylight saving. Our co-founder Jackson Taylor is based in Adelaide, so Adelaide clients can meet a founder locally.
Perth and Manila share the same time zone all year, so your team member's whole day overlaps with yours with no early start at either end.
No. Every step, from the first call to the interviews, can be done by video, and most clients outside Sydney never visit. The office at Level 7, 99 York Street is there for clients who want to meet the people behind the business before they commit.
