Refer a client to Offshored: the partner page for accountants, bookkeepers and business advisers

For the accountants, bookkeepers and business advisers who get asked "should we hire offshore?" every week. This page says what a referral looks like, what your client gets, and exactly how partners are recognised: no referral fee, reciprocal referral.

How does the Offshored partner referral work?

Offshored partners are accountants, bookkeepers and business advisers whose clients ask them whether to hire offshore staff. A referral is an introduction email, a link to our booking page, or two minutes on the registration form below. Your client gets a free scoping call, a shortlist of screened candidates, one all-inclusive monthly fee from A$1,900, no lock-in and 30 days' notice. Offshored pays no referral fee. Registered partners are recognised by reciprocal referral: when a client asks us to recommend an accountant, bookkeeper or adviser, we refer our registered partners.

Who it is for

Accountants, bookkeepers and business advisers

If you prepare a client's accounts, run their books or advise them on growth, you see the staffing problem before anyone else does: the bookkeeping backlog, the unanswered phones, the owner doing admin at night. Clients ask you whether offshore staff are legal, what they cost and who to trust. This page gives you a short, accurate answer and a two minute way to hand the enquiry on.

  • Accountants and tax agents whose clients need a bookkeeper, accounts payable or receivable officer, payroll administrator or administrator.
  • Bookkeepers who are at capacity and want a client's daily processing handled by a dedicated offshore bookkeeper, with you reviewing.
  • Business advisers, coaches and brokers who are asked "how do we grow without adding Australian headcount?"

You stay the client's adviser. Offshored places and employs dedicated staff through Australian Pathways OPC (Company Reg. 2023010082245-00); it does not give tax, accounting or legal advice and does not compete with your practice.

What a referral looks like

Three ways to refer a client, each under two minutes

1. An introduction email

Email your client and copy connect@offshored.net with one line on the role they need. We reply within one business hour, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm AEST, and take it from there.

2. Send the booking link

Give your client offshored.net/book. They choose a 20 minute slot and the call is with William or Andrew, not a sales team. Tell us you sent them and the referral is logged to you.

3. Register, then refer

Fill in the registration form once. From then on, a one line email with the client's name is enough and you are on the reciprocal referral list.

What to tell the client before you refer them: the how it works page explains the process in five steps, the pricing page shows the monthly fee by role, and the legality guide answers the question most clients ask first.

What your client gets

The same published terms every Offshored client gets

  • A free scoping call and shortlist. The service is free until the client chooses a candidate and signs a Memorandum of Understanding; screened candidates with the right software experience arrive within one to two weeks (how it works).
  • One all-inclusive monthly fee from A$1,900. Salary, 13th month pay, statutory contributions, HMO health cover after probation, payroll, recruitment, replacement and HR are inside the fee. No recruitment, setup or exit fees (pricing, Terms of Service).
  • No lock-in. Month to month after the MOU, 30 days' notice, and a prorated final invoice (Terms of Service).
  • Replacement at Offshored's cost if the person resigns or is not the right fit, with no re-recruitment fee (Terms of Service).
  • A legal employer the client can check. Staff are employed by Australian Pathways OPC in the Philippines and the client contracts with Offshored Pty Ltd (ABN 84 664 866 433). Confidentiality and IP assignment sit in the employment contract (data security).
  • Work in the client's own systems. The team member works under the client's logins in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Dext, Karbon, FYI or whatever the practice runs, Australian hours (accounting firms page).
  • Exact, referenced costs. The cost benchmark compares fourteen roles against Seek salary data, so you can show a client the saving for their role rather than a headline claim.
How partners are recognised

No referral fee. Reciprocal referral.

Offshored pays no referral fee. No commission, no finder's fee, no credit against a client's invoice. The advice you give your client stays independent, and there is nothing for either of us to disclose.

Registered partners are recognised by reciprocal referral. When an Offshored client asks us to recommend an accountant, bookkeeper or business adviser, we refer our registered partners. A business that has just added an offshore bookkeeper may ask for a reviewing accountant, a BAS agent or an adviser for the next stage of growth, and that request goes to you.

FAQ

Questions partners ask

Does Offshored pay a referral fee or commission?

No. Offshored pays no referral fee, commission or kickback to partners, so the advice you give your client stays independent and there is nothing to disclose on either side. Registered partners are recognised by reciprocal referral: when a client asks us to recommend an accountant, bookkeeper or adviser, we refer our registered partners.

Who stays in charge of the client relationship?

You do. Offshored places and employs dedicated staff through Australian Pathways OPC; it does not give tax, accounting or legal advice and does not compete with your practice. Your client keeps working with you exactly as before, with an offshore team member in their systems.

What does a referral commit my client to?

Nothing until they choose a candidate. The scoping call and the shortlist are free. The monthly fee starts when the client signs a Memorandum of Understanding for a specific person, and the arrangement runs month to month with 30 days' notice and no lock-in. The full terms are published at offshored.net/terms.

Which clients are a good fit for an offshore team member?

Businesses with a documented, repeatable role that runs in cloud software: bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, administration, customer service, drafting, estimating, marketing coordination and similar. The roles hub lists the roles and their monthly cost bands, and the readiness checklist gives a client a score in a few minutes.

Can I refer my own practice as well as my clients?

Yes. Accounting and bookkeeping firms use offshore bookkeepers, accountants and payroll administrators themselves. The accounting firms page has the roles, the compliance points (TPB Code items 6 and 7, APES 305, APP 8) and a worked cost example for a four partner firm.

This page is general information for referring partners, not legal, tax or financial advice. Offshored's commitments on this page reflect our published Terms of Service at the "Last updated" date in the footer of that page.

Have a client in mind now?

Copy connect@offshored.net on an introduction, or send them the booking link. We reply within one business hour, 8am to 6pm AEST, Monday to Friday, and you stay their adviser throughout.
