Offshore staffing rates for US businesses by role, per month

Eastern fees apply to a team member working US Eastern, Central or Mountain hours. Pacific fees apply to US Pacific hours, which run from 1:00 am to 9:00 am in Manila in US winter, and are set 10 percent above the exact Eastern conversion before rounding. Converted from A$1,900 at the Wise mid-market AUD to USD rate of 0.7017 read on October 23, 2026, rounded up to the next US$50. Eastern time fees are shown; Pacific time fees are 10 percent higher before rounding. The rate is fixed between reviews and is reviewed on the first business day of each quarter (next review Monday, January 4, 2027); a change applies only to new quotes, never to a running contract.

The same bands appear on each US role page: offshore bookkeeper, virtual assistant and customer service representative. For what sits behind these figures, ten US roles compared line by line with BLS wages, read the US offshore staffing cost benchmark.

Your hours, covered from Manila

How a US business day works for your team member in Manila

Your team member works your business hours. US daytime is a night shift in Manila, and the night shift allowance is included in your monthly fee, so the price you are quoted is the price you pay.

Your time zoneManila is ahead byYour 9:00 am to 5:00 pm is
Eastern (New York, Miami, Atlanta)12 hours in US summer, 13 hours in US winter9:00 pm to 5:00 am Manila (10:00 pm to 6:00 am in US winter)
Central (Chicago, Dallas, Houston)13 hours in US summer, 14 hours in US winter10:00 pm to 6:00 am Manila (11:00 pm to 7:00 am in US winter)
Mountain (Denver, Salt Lake City)14 hours in US summer, 15 hours in US winter11:00 pm to 7:00 am Manila (midnight to 8:00 am in US winter)
Pacific (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle)15 hours in US summer, 16 hours in US wintermidnight to 8:00 am Manila (1:00 am to 9:00 am in US winter)

Manila is UTC+8 all year (Philippine Standard Time, no daylight saving). US daylight saving runs March 8 to November 1, 2026 and March 14 to November 7, 2027. The allowance inside the fee is the night shift differential under Article 86 of the Philippine Labor Code, 10 percent of the regular wage for each hour worked between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am Manila time; Australian Pathways OPC employs team members for US clients on permanent night shifts, so the differential is never billed separately.

Inclusions

What the monthly fee includes, and what it does not

The fee is designed so that the only other cost of an offshore team member is your own systems. Everything a US employer would normally pay for separately is inside the one figure. Offshored's team members are employed in the Philippines by Australian Pathways OPC, a registered Philippine company, so you engage a staffing service rather than employing an overseas worker.

Included in every monthly fee

  • Recruitment and vetting. Our Manila recruitment team shortlists, tests and interviews before you see anyone, and every candidate has a pre-screening interview and an NBI clearance (the Philippine police check) before they are presented. No placement fee, and nothing to pay until you choose a candidate.
  • Employment. Your team member is employed under Philippine labor law by Australian Pathways OPC, a registered Philippine company (Company Reg. 2023010082245-00), which carries the employment contract and liability. Offshored does not employ the team member, and neither do you.
  • Night shift differential. The 10 percent night shift differential under Article 86 of the Philippine Labor Code for US hours is inside the fee and never billed separately.
  • Payroll and statutory contributions. Salary, Philippine income tax, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions, 13th month pay and paid leave are all handled and paid.
  • HMO health insurance. Private health coverage for your team member once they complete their six-month probation.
  • Office and equipment. Office based team members get a desk in our office in BGC, Manila, and a company computer. Home based team members usually supply their own computer, and we can supply one where the role needs it.
  • Management and HR. Timekeeping on our platform, attendance records on request, a performance check-in after the first month and then annually, and Offshored's Australian team as your point of contact.
  • Leave cover and replacement. If your team member resigns or is not the right fit, we recruit a replacement at our cost and present candidates before the handover date. If a role is made redundant, the statutory separation pay is covered by us, not you.

Not included

  • Specialist software licenses. Your team member works inside your systems, so seats in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit or your CRM are yours to provide, exactly as they would be for a local hire.
  • Overtime and holiday work. The fee covers a standard 40-hour week. Extra hours or work on a Philippine public holiday can be arranged on request, with your written approval and the team member's agreement, under our Terms of Service.

Not applicable at all: no US employment relationship arises, so you do not run US payroll for the team member, do not withhold US employment taxes and do not provide US benefits. Your obligations are the monthly fee and the terms of the service agreement. Offshored Pty Ltd is not registered for Australian GST and charges no GST or VAT, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you pay. Confirm your own position with your CPA.

No lock-in

The terms, in plain English

You should never feel trapped by a staffing arrangement. These are the commercial terms every Offshored client is on; the full version is on the Terms of Service page. You contract with Offshored Pty Ltd, an Australian company, ABN 84 664 866 433, Level 1, 63-73 Ann Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010, Australia.

No contract term

You pay month to month. There is no minimum term, no 12-month agreement and no exit fee. Recruitment is free until you choose a candidate and sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

30 days' notice

To end the arrangement, give 30 days' notice. If notice falls part-way through a month, the following invoice is prorated to the remaining notice period. Nothing else is owed.

Invoiced in advance, in US dollars

Invoices are issued in US dollars on the 15th of each month and are due on the 30th, covering the following month. You pay by domestic US transfer (ACH or Fedwire) to Offshored Pty Ltd's US dollar account, so there is no international wire fee. A start date other than the 1st is prorated, so you only ever pay for days worked.

Replacement at our cost

If a team member leaves or does not work out, we recruit their replacement from our Manila candidate pool and present candidates before the handover date. There is no re-recruitment fee.

Fixed for the year

Your fee does not move mid-year. The USD rate behind the bands is fixed between quarterly reviews, and a review changes new quotes only, never a running contract. Team members can make a case for a salary increase at their annual review; any agreed increase takes effect on January 1 and the fee adjusts by that amount.

Leave is built in

Paid leave is 10 days in years one and two, 15 days in years three and four, and 20 days from year five, plus Philippine public holidays. Your team member follows the Philippine public holiday calendar, so a US public holiday is a normal working day unless it is also a Philippine holiday.

Savings calculator

Offshore staffing cost calculator: your saving against a US salary

The Offshored offshore staffing cost calculator compares the monthly fee for a role with the fully loaded cost of the same role hired in the United States. Enter the annual salary you would pay locally, pick the band and the time zone: the calculator adds employer paid benefits at 30.0 percent of total compensation, the private industry share in the BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation release for June 2026, and returns the monthly and annual difference for an Offshored team member. For a sourced reference point across ten roles, Offshored's published US offshore staffing cost benchmark applies the same method to BLS median wages. The calculator uses your figures, so the result is yours, not an average.

US cost per monthUS$6,032Salary plus benefits at 30.0 percent of compensation
Offshored fee per monthUS$1,350 to US$1,700Administration and support, entry level, Eastern time
Your monthly savingUS$4,332 to US$4,68272% to 78% less
Your annual savingUS$51,986 to US$56,186Per team member, per year

Assumptions: employer paid benefits at 30.0 percent of total compensation, so the US cost is the salary divided by 0.700. That is the private industry share in the BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation release for June 2026 (released September 9, 2026, USDL-26-1494, Table 1: wages and salaries $32.82 and benefits $14.07 of $46.89 per hour worked). Benefits in that measure are paid leave, supplemental pay, insurance, retirement and savings, and legally required benefits such as Social Security, Medicare and unemployment insurance. The default salary is the BLS median annual wage for bookkeeping, accounting and auditing clerks, $50,670 (Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics, May 2025, national estimates, released May 15, 2026, USDL-26-0725). The US figure leaves out recruitment fees, equipment and office space, so the real saving is usually larger. The Offshored figure is the full monthly fee for the band and time zone you pick. Your quote after a 20-minute call is an exact figure, not a range.

Pricing questions

Offshore staff pricing for US businesses: questions owners ask

Offshore staff pricing for US businesses is quoted and invoiced in US dollars by Offshored Pty Ltd, ABN 84 664 866 433, an Australian company, under the Offshored Terms of Service. Offshored uses the dedicated offshore staffing model: you choose the person, that person works only for your business in your systems and your hours, and Offshored handles recruitment, onboarding, payroll and day to day HR, with each team member employed in the Philippines by Australian Pathways OPC, a registered Philippine company. No US employment relationship arises on your side. The answers below cover the questions US owners ask most before they commit.

Yes. Offshored's monthly fee covers recruitment and vetting, employment by Australian Pathways OPC under Philippine labor law, salary, the 10 percent Philippine night shift differential for US hours, Philippine income tax and statutory contributions, 13th month pay, paid leave, HMO health insurance after probation, a desk and computer in our BGC, Manila office for office based team members, timekeeping, HR and performance management, and replacement at our cost if the team member leaves. The fee is invoiced in US dollars and carries no GST or VAT.

No. Recruitment with Offshored is free until you choose a candidate and sign a Memorandum of Understanding, and there is no placement fee or setup fee. You then pay month to month. To end the arrangement you give 30 days' notice, the following invoice is prorated to the notice period, and there is no exit fee.

Offshored Pty Ltd issues the invoice in US dollars on the 15th of each month, due on the 30th, in advance of the work period, so payment for December is due on November 30. You pay by domestic US transfer, ACH or Fedwire, to Offshored Pty Ltd's US dollar account, with no international wire fee. If your team member starts on a date other than the 1st, the first month is prorated, and the first invoice covers that prorated month plus the second month, due before the start date.

Every US schedule is a permanent night shift in Manila, and the 10 percent night shift differential under Article 86 of the Philippine Labor Code is inside both columns. Pacific hours run later, from 1:00 am to 9:00 am in Manila in US winter, so the Pacific fee for each tier is set 10 percent above the Eastern conversion before rounding: for example US$1,500 to US$1,900 for administration and support instead of US$1,350 to US$1,700. Central and Mountain schedules end by 8:00 am in Manila and are priced at the Eastern fee.

The bands are the Australian dollar bands converted at the Wise mid-market AUD to USD rate of 0.7017 read on October 23, 2026 and rounded up to the next US$50, because US clients are invoiced in US dollars. The rate is fixed between reviews. It is reviewed on the first business day of each quarter, next on Monday, January 4, 2027, and a change applies only to this page and to new quotes, never to a running contract, so the fee in your agreement does not move with the exchange rate.

Yes, the fee is a flat monthly amount that already includes paid leave: 10 days in years one and two, 15 days in years three and four, and 20 days from year five, plus Philippine public holidays. Leave beyond the allowance is unpaid and is discounted from your December invoice. Your team member follows the Philippine public holiday calendar, so a US public holiday is a normal working day unless it is also a Philippine holiday.
